Loot Days of Winter
The weather this winter has been touch & go and not as many trips out to our favorite activity of finding pirate booty aka geocaching have been possible. Except this day about three weeks ago now where we had gotten so very much to have had a break in the weather that day after waking up to yet another rainy day to be able to enjoy the sunshine for a few hours over at the Zoo. We set out in search of 2 caches actually. One however was not to even be attempted as it was somewhere behind locked gates and we did not want to risk trying to scale the fence just to find out what was in that secret stash. Moving on to the second cache we went then and only to be within 15 feet of it and still not be able to find it. I'm guessing Muggles redistributed it somewhere. Nontheless we headed back to the car and set out for the 3rd attempt of the afternoon at a local corner market on the way home where we definitely got lucky from the flowering pot on the front porch of the store. The store owner and a few customers were busy watching me anticipating what I was going to discover. I was admist the loot retrieval when a new lady customer was going into the store and asked me about what I was doing. I finished up & went inside to explain what I had been doing. She was delighted to hear about my adventures of the day & how to go about trying to join in ;-). Day of success indeed including a silly hair day!
